Total re-branding, art direction & graphic design of a contemporary menswear label based in Newport Beach, CA. The new logo consists of the graphic mark "the nest," and the stacked type logo with an O in the center echoes its shape. The nest mark was drawn from their previous logo of the soaring crane. The look book takes form of a montage album, with photos that show various stages of an action. The T-shirt graphics reflect the playful yet grown-up version of a surf/skate lifestyle brand.

Design of a 5 x 8 inch travel guide for their Summer Art & Travel issue. The concept was to create a fun, non-traditional guide that gives the sense of a journal. Icons and color highlights were used to build hierarchy among large amount of text and photos.
Packaging for a company that offers blended teas, scones and other sweets. Label colors indicate types of teas: blue for black tea, green for green tea, and pink for herbal tea blends. Brown paper bag carries scones and sweets to go.

The illustration accompanies an essay written by Yoshiharu Fukuhara, chairman of Shiseido and of All Japan Orchid Society. The orchid is thus used as a motif for every essay, with varying concepts.
